Vitamin shots are a quick and easy way to get an appropriate dose of vitamins. By receiving a vitamin in the form of a shot rather than a pill, the body tends to absorb it better, giving you the best effects from the vitamin. If our bodies do not produce enough stomach acid or specific gastric proteins, these vitamins are not absorbed as readily in pill form. Vitamin shots are a great way to get the vitamins into the body and absorbed more efficiently. The vitamin shots that we are carrying are Vitamin D3, B12 Methylcobalamin, and Tri-immune. What Vitamin Deficiency Looks Like

Whether it be from poor diet, genetics, or another cause, vitamin deficiency is a common occurrence worldwide. The characteristics of this look like fatigue, weakened immune system, skin conditions, headaches, digestive issues, swelling, and more.

Even with taking a pill form of vitamins, the GI system often is not able to properly absorb the vitamins. Intramuscular absorption bypasses the GI system, avoiding this problem and making it easier for the body to absorb.

About the Shots that We Offer

Vitamin D3 is naturally found from the sun, but with busy lifestyles and sunscreen use, getting enough can be a challenge. This fat soluble vitamin is essential for the immune system as well as bone health. When lacking in this vitamin, sickness' are caught more frequently, and the body does not fight them off as well.

B12 Methylcobalamin is a diverse vitamin that has numerous benefits. Among these benefits are nerve function, proper production of red blood cells, brain function, and more. A lack of B12 has been connected to different illnesses, so keeping the body's levels regular has lasting benefits.

The Tri-immune blend is a vitamin shot comprised of Glutathione, Vitamin C, and Zinc. These vitamins are essential to the immune system. By packing the body with this blend of vitamins, it will be more equipped to fight off whatever it comes across. Vitamin C supports cellular functions of both the innate and adaptive immune system. Zinc Sulfate plays a role in the development and function of immune processes. Glutathione is our most potent antioxidant and supports numerous systems in the body including optimal functioning of the immune system.

What Is the Process of Receiving a Vitamin Shot in Our Office?

When you arrive, you will meet with our nurse practitioner who will discuss your symptoms, and, in some cases, order blood work if necessary. She will then administer the vitamin shot into the arm or glute muscle. This is quick, easy, and you will barely feel a thing! The entire process should not take more than 5-10 minutes. Although changes will be noticed after the first shot, the nurse practitioner may recommend more depending on how you are feeling and blood work.
