Your Debary Chiropractor
Health In Motion Chiropractic is a wellness practice focused on keeping patients healthy. Our Chiropractor utilizes chiropractic adjustments, spinal decompression, manual therapy techniques such as active release, graston and massage, rehab exercises, nutritional education and Functional Medicine for a whole body approach to healthcare for Debary and the surrounding areas.
Dr. Auchter is passionate about researching the most current and evidence based methods. She is continuing her education with the Institute for Functional Medicine, studying epigenetics, nutrigenomics and gut health to name a few areas of interest. This enables Doctor Auchter to comprehensively assist patients by addressing the entire body system and utilizing specific functional diagnostic and blood tests to devise an individualized plan supporting their optimal health.
We have seen the best results when patients and doctors work in partnership, where the patient is truly heard, and when education is a key component in understanding the benefits of treatment.
If your goals are as simple as lifting your grandchild or hiking and biking without pain, to the complexity of training for an Olympic competition, we are here to assist.

Discs of your vertebrae can be a common cause of neck pain and back pain. Discs can bulge, herniate or degenerate over time causing stenosis or pressure on spinal nerves. The ideal treatment to improve disc pathology is to decompress the spine. This reduces pressure on the damaged discs, nerves and allows for diffusion of spinal fluid and nutrients into the disc to help with the healing process. Spinal decompression also creates a vacuum effect in the center of the disc to reabsorb disc material, thus alleviating pressure on the spinal nerves and reducing pain.
Massage Therapy and Chiropractic care are a great combination when treating musckuloskeltal conditions. Our massage treatments are designed to improve biomechanics, decrease pain, improve circulation and restore muscle function.
Functional Medicine is a total body systems approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of disease. Our goal is to find the cause and treat the individual through addressing the patients unique genetic makeup, environment, lifestyle and diet.
Cryotherapy applies extremely cold temperatures through liquid nitrogen. A whole body tank is used for several minutes to produce proven health benefits. Because of its reductive effect in inflammation and oxidative stress it may help to reduce the risk of dementia, alzheimers and tumor cell growth. Cryotherapy has also been used to treat migraines, headaches, nerve pain, joint pain, muscle pain, and skin conditions.
Electromagnetic energy from the laser effects the tissue at the cellular level. The cold laser enters the tissue and alters the cell membrane permeability. The energy is then absorbed at the cellular level in the mitochondria. This creates physiological changes such as: rapid cell growth, faster wound healing, increased metabolic activity, reduced fibrous tissue formation, decreased inflammatory effects, increased vascular activity, and stimulates nerve function.
